How To Open Your Lock

Safety

For the safety of asthmatic and allergic students/staff, the following are not permitted:

    • fragrance lotions
    • Perfumes (spray, roll-on, aeresol)
    • Body mist or spray
    • Axe body spray, cologne, etc.

Please do not bring these items AT ALL.

Use of the Locker Room

  • Students will be issued their own lock and locker in Physical Education.
  • The student is responsible for the replacement of lost or damaged locks ($5) lock and the cost of repairing a damaged locker.
  • Lockers are to be used for PE items ONLY.
  • For the safety of all students and staff, personal locks will not be allowed on ANY lockers and will be cut off.
  • Combinations will only be given to the student who is assigned to that lock/locker. The P.E. Department is NOT responsible for lost or stolen locks, P.E. clothes or other personal items, including cell phones. DO NOT SHARE YOUR COMBINATION!!
  • SHARING OF LOCKS/LOCKERS IS NOT PERMITTED. This is for the safety of the student and their personal items.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disciplinary action and/or temporary removal from the locker room.

Tardy Policies

**All students MUST BE INSIDE the locker room before the tardy bell and OUT ON THEIR NUMBERS BEFORE their teacher gets outside.

**If you are late to the locker room without a pass, you WILL NOT be permitted to dress out and will be considered a non-suit.

Personal Responsibility

Personal responsibility is a key component to being successful in physical education. Students need to do the following in order to develop an appropriate level of responsiblity:

  • Show up to the locker room on time
  • Have PE clothes daily (shirt and shorts)
  • Use the passing period (4 minutes) and addition 4-5 minutes to dress out: This is not a social time...you should dress and leave the locker room.
  • Use the bathroom during the dressing out time. Students will not be permitted to use the restroom during class, except in the event of an emergency. Please use your dressing time responsibly.
