PHYSICAL SETTING/EARTH SCIENCE REGENTS

The course centers around student investigations and activities aimed at furthering an understanding of the planet Earth -- its changes, its cycles, its history, and its relationship to the vast body of outer space through which it moves. The student becomes aware of some of the mysteries and unanswered questions that puzzle earth scientists. The course material is conceptual and attempts to bring the Earth and its features closer to the student. This is accomplished through analyzing observations and relating them to the student's experiences.
