MS Physical Education Period 3... G. Purdie

Mr. Purdie graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelors in Sports Management and earned a Masters degree in Physical Education. While at Adelphi, Mr. Purdie participated on the Men's lacrosse team and was captain for 2 years. At Adelphi, he was President of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee and was an Academic All American. Last year, Mr. Purdie was a substitute teacher in Herricks High School, assisted in the Friday Night Recreation program, and coached the boys varsity lacrosse team at East Meadow High School. This summer, Mr. Purdie worked at the Waldorf School of Garden City, where he managed the sports programs and represented Australia in the World lacrosse Championships in Alabama.
