Outcome 1: Implement a successful self- and peer-evaluation scheme;
Relevant subject, skill or competence: 21st century assessment skills and methods
Description: the participant will be more knowledgeable of the skills needed to promote self- and peer- assessment among students
Outcome 2: Write rubrics and criteria for formative assessment;
Relevant subject, skill or competence: making curriculum relevant to students
Description: the participant will be better equipped to scaffold students, and to guide them towards making proper use of formative assessment as a means of building their own knowledge, and seeing assessment as relevant to what they have learnt
Outcome 3:Assess and evaluate ‘soft skills’;
Relevant subject, skill or competence: multilateral assessment, focused on a variety or skills, often neglected by traditional assessment methods
Description: the participant will be better able to include skill-based assessment in the evaluation process, thus going beyond theoretical knowledge, into procedural knowledge, and showing students that assessment really does go beyond the dreaded learning by rote and memorization
Outcome 4: Use modules and weightings to modify negative classroom behavior;
Relevant subject, skill or competence: modern feedback methods to promote positive classroom behaviour and positive attitude towards learning and evaluation
Description: the participant will be better able to apply the most adequate method to manage assessment dread/ anxiety amongst students
Outcome 5: Educate and include parents in the evaluation
Relevant subject, skill or competence: student-centred, and student-tailored evaluation paired with parent-oriented feedback
Description: the participant will be better able to customise feedback to meet the needs and interests of individual students, as well as the aims of the lesson; additionally, the participant will be better equipped to explain evaluation results to parents in a comprehensible manner, thus supporting parents support their children in building their knowledge starting from evaluation results
