principal's message

Welcome to the Henry County Early Childhood Center.  We are excited to have you here and look forward to partnering with you during this important stage in your child’s early learning journey.

The staff and I believe that a child’s earliest years should be filled with fun, discovery and meaningful play.  We strive to actively engage children in an environment where they will gain the skills and knowledge they will need in order to enter elementary school ready to achieve and excel in learning.  

The preschool curriculum is delivered to all children using a multi-sensory approach, which allows the children to learn basic concepts and skills through hands-on experiences and activities.  These activities promote literacy and language development as well as pre-math skills and encourage children to explore, question and discover answers while the teachers observe and record each child’s ongoing growth and development.

I encourage you to explore our website and Facebook page to learn more about our program and the many ways we help our students develop socially, emotionally and academically.  Whether you’re a returning family or enrolling for the first time, I am thrilled to welcome you to our school community.
