Login: Open the Access HCS environment and select single sign-on
Navigate to “Me tab” – top left corner of page and select tile- “Time and Absences”
Select “Absence Balance”
Absence details will be displayed of each specific plan
Clicking on an absence plan name will open a page with that plan's specific balance data and allow the employee to project a future balance by changing the “Balance As-of Date”
Please note: Absence balance will now be calculated in hours. Please compare the number of hours, to the number of days shown on your most recent pay stub. To calculate this, take the number of days on your most recent pay stub and multiply by the number of hours worked per day.

Teachers/Paraprofessionals- 8 hour
Nutrition Assistants- 6 hours
Clinic Aides- 7 hours
Bus Drivers/Monitors- 5 hours

Select “Absence Type” from the list of values (Existing absence page will be displayed with absence dates of all plans)
Note: An employee can update an existing absence by selecting the pencil icon.
