This project was all about our students learning to work independently. Largely, we planned the trajectory of their work then released them to do it. One of Ms. Thomas' favorite anecdotes from this project resulted from her asking a student what she needed to do to help his group's presentation. After doling out complicated tasks to his pod members, he turned to her and said "Ms. Thomas, you're in charge of bringing a green table cloth and glitter! Our Golden wants glitter and she will have it!"
Our 4th period is very silly, smart, spontaneous, and small. We are a tiny but mighty class! We learned to work together well and communicate professionally with alumni.
