The QMS Curriculum Fair Website will is updated for the 2026-27 school year. All families are invited to review this site to learn valuable information for selecting courses for next year and planning ahead to programs that are available in high school. Please note this website contains information for rising 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students.
December 11th: Curriculum Fair @ the Q, from 6:00-7:30 PM. This event is for all rising 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade families. You will find links to recorded presentations for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Please review these presentations prior to the curriculum fair event, and bring your questions with you on December 11th.
December 12th: During Advisory in the morning (through 9:20 AM), 6th and 7th graders will review elective offerings for next year, using our curriculum fair website and recorded presentations by school counselors. During this same timeframe, 8th graders will meet with high school counselors from Freeman, Godwin, and Tucker High Schools to learn about the transition to high school and course offerings in 9th grade.

January 5-19: Parents/students can select courses for the 2026-2027 school year in PowerSchool. School counselors will work with students in learning how to select courses online during these two weeks, and parents/students can make changes through January 19th. January 19th: Deadline for parents/students to select courses online
Early-May: Students and families will be able to review course selections for the 2026-2027 school year one more time before school closes for the summer, to make sure there are no mistakes.
May 22nd: Last day students can request an elective class change (requests will only be honored if space remains in the course being requested).
