Steps:
Create Student Account on Parchment
Ensure to use your Full Legal Name
Accurate Birthday
Accurate Graduation Year
Early Grads – you will use your original graduation year
Once the account is made, the student will be linked to the Highland Springs database.
Students will be able to send their transcripts to themselves, colleges individually, sport recruiters, scholarship organizations, and/or link it to their Common App accounts.
Linking Parchment to Common App
Complete the FERPA process in Common App under the 'My Colleges' tab
Add your counselor to your Common App, be sure the email address is correct
Log onto Parchment and send your transcript to the “Common App (First Year)”
On the next screen, you will enter your Common App ID #. Click the verify button and check that the information is correct: your name and your counselor’s name. You may need to refresh after granting permission. It will list the colleges that you have selected on your Common Application.
