Scheduling Season Coming Soon

The 2026-27 Scheduling Season will be here before you know it! Soon, it will be time for students to plan their courses for the upcoming school year and take the next steps in their academic journey.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Course Recommendations: You can now view your student's course recommendations in PowerSchool January 2027. 

• Electives and Core Updates: Students will have the opportunity to select electives and make updates to their core courses when they meet with their school counselor.

Schedule for Counseling Meetings:

9th-grade students: Meetings will begin in January (2027)

10th and 11th-grade students: Meetings will be completed by February (2027).

During these one-on-one academic planning sessions, school counselors will review:

• Credits to date

• SOL information

• Course selections

• Career interests

• Post-secondary plans

No appointment needed! Your student’s school counselor will call them down when it’s their turn to meet.
