Course Selection for the 2026-27 Academic Year
The Highland Springs High School School Counseling Department is actively meeting with students as we prepare for the upcoming academic year. School counselors are currently working with 9th and 10th grade students through individual and small-group sessions, and with juniors in one-on-one meetings, to complete course selections for next school year.
During this time, counselors are intentionally meeting with every student to review earned credits, ensure students remain on track for graduation, and engage in meaningful conversations around postsecondary plans and future goals. These sessions are designed to support informed decision-making and align each student’s academic plan with their aspirations beyond high school.
Counselors will continue pulling students for scheduling meetings through February 20th. Students DO NOT need to request scheduling meetings as the team is systematically pulling their caseloads. We appreciate the flexibility and support of our teachers and families as we work to ensure all students are prepared for a successful year ahead.
