Teacher's Philosophy Statement
I am committed to the growth and success of every student in my classroom, school, and county district by providing a safe and stimulating learning environment. I want students to be empowered by giving them voice and choice support that builds curiosity, enhances self-esteem, and improves self-evaluation. Technology education should not only stimulate the mind but support hands-on modeling through routines that develop actionable habits. Practice makes permanent; the right behavior builds the right habit. The classroom should be structured yet engaging with group collaboration and support from a peer perspective. While in the essence of culture, I strongly believe that safety is the highest priority. I believe that a rigorous safety routine needs to be established at the beginning of the school year, as well as assigning seats to prevent harm or injury. By giving students constraints in safety, I am giving them personal freedom to create and innovate in a conservative manner.
