Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will be available on September 29. To apply, visit the application portal at henricoschools.schoolmint.com.* Our application only requires 2 letters of recommendations from two trusted adults at your school who know you well enough to advocate for your academic personality (receiving a letter of recommendation from your Spanish teacher is STRONGLY suggested). Parent Portal and waiver forms can be found online beginning September 23, 2025. Please work with your school counselor on application and recommendations.

Shadowing and Information Sessions
Open House: The Center for Spanish Language and Global Citizenship will hold its open house on Wednesday, October 27, at 7:00 PM. We will begin in the Tucker High School auditorium. You can enter through the bus loop doors.
Information Sessions will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Highland Spring High School from 11:00-2:00 and at Tucker High School on September 11, 2025. Join us to learn more about the Center for Spanish Language and Global Citizenship.
The county will host several information sessions for parents and students to learn more about the different specialty center programs and the application process. Prospective students and parents are invited to hear from current students, faculty members and parents about the Center for Spanish Language and Global Citizenship. There will be a time of question and answer for students and parents as they make their decision to apply to the Center for Spanish Language and Global Citizenship.
The Center for Spanish Language and Global Citizenship will offer shadowing opportunities for prospective students to come and walk with another Center student throughout the day to all classes. The window of opportunity to shadow will be from October 2025 through February 2026. The sign-up list will be made available after OPEN HOUSE on October 28, 2025 here.
