Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)

College and Career Readiness will prepare you for your service in the Military. We recommend all students are enrolled in rigorous coursework to prepare and sit for the ASVAB exam.

Benefits of the ASVAB include:

• required for military service.

• higher score = increased opportunities

• taking a 4th year of math, world language and science will better prepare you for the ASVAB exam.

Students need to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid or California Dream Act Applications during their Senior Year to maximize their financial aid.

The JROTC program prepares high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of the benefits of JROTC and military careers. The JROTC programs in Hemet USD are as follows:
