Funding Your Future

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) is available to be completed on October 1st of the students' Senior year. Completion fo these forms is required for most financial aid including scholarships, regardless of financial need.

Steps to complete the FAFSA/CADAA

Step 1: Register for a Financial Student Aid Identification Number (FSA ID). The FSA ID is the username and password used to log into the website to complete the application or make changes.


Step 2: Collect all of your necessary documents

  • Social Security numbers for students and parent/guardians

  • Alien Registration number if the student is not a US citizen

  • Federal Income Tax Return for both parent/guardian and student (if applicable)


Step 3: Complete the FAFSA/CADAA application (www.fafsa.gov or drea.csac.ca.gov). Once the application has been submitted, please print the confirmation page for your records.
