Although both PC and Mac products can be used, GLOBO internally uses Macs for various reasons and highly recommends them. Our protip is that there are many very good used machines on the market through reputable sites—there is no need to buy a brand new computer.
Interpreters must know how to troubleshoot their own system for audio and internet issues. Every interpreter has a unique set up and uses their own equipment. The simpler you make it (i.e. connect less things to your professional computer), the easier this is. We recommend turning off bluetooth if possible and also minimizing the number of applications and programs in use on your equipment.
