The Student Union of Haaga-Helia - Helga cancels Annual Gala 2020

With the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, Helga’s board has decided to cancel the Annual Gala 2020 , which was scheduled for November 21, 2020.

It is important to the Student Union to ensure the safety of the event participants. The event will be canceled because Student Union is not able to fully ensure the safety of the participants in the event and due to the number of participants would not have been able to offer the event equally to everybody.

In 2021, Helga will turn 15 years old and due to this, celebrations are being diligently planned this year. We will have even bigger and brighter Annual Gala in the year 2021.

Our other upcoming events in the autumn will always be announced one month in advance. There are tutors and clubs under Helga, who are still allowed to organize events and meetings for small groups according to safety instructions.
