As the pandemic situation worsens in the Helsinki metropolitan area and due to the reduction of campus services, we will close our Pasila Helga Point customer service point till the end of 2020.

The expansion of the Student Health Care Foundation for all degree students at Finnish universities is a victory for the equality of students. This year, I have been able to monitor how the reform exported to really practice.

Helga’s representative council selected student representatives to the Haaga-Helia administration in the representative council’s meeting on 24.11.2020.

The General Assembly of Finnish Student Sports Federation - FSSF gathered in an online meeting during these unusual times on 18th and 19th of October 2020. The vice-chairperson of the Helga board Julia Tuuri was elected as a chairperson of FSSF’s board.

Due to the prevailing pandemic situation, Helga’s board has decided to hold the spring’s Freshers’ Day remotely. The board feels that it is high time to develop alternative solutions for organizing events and wants to set resources in time to implement a high-quality remotely held event. The theme remains as Hollywood.

The search for the Student Union of Haaga-Helia - Helga's board has begun! The Helga Board of 2021 will be elected at the assembly meeting of the new Representative Council. The assembly meeting of the new Representative Council will be held on November 25, 2020 at 3:00 pm.

The Electoral Committee has confirmed the results of the Representative Council Election of the Student Union of Haaga-Helia - Helga. The Representative Council consists out of 20 members and 20 vice members.

Influencing is important. It improves the quality of our education, offers solutions for old ways of action and improves student’s position in school, place of residence and nationwide. But how can you make an influence as a student?

The 25th General Assembly of University of Applied Sciences Students in Finland – SAMOK gathered in an online meeting during these unusual times on 29 and 30 October 2020. Board member of Helga Alex Palm was elected as a member of SAMOK’s board.

Helga’s new head tutors for the year 2021 have been selected.
