YOUR WEEKLY UPDATE FROM HURST JUNIOR HIGH
8/6/2026
The countdown is on! In just a few days, our hallways will once again be filled with the energy, excitement, and laughter that make Hurst Junior High such a special place. Our staff is eagerly preparing to welcome our Red Raiders, and we can't wait to begin another First...Class school year together!
As you make your final preparations for the first day of school, please take a few moments to review these important reminders to help ensure your student has a smooth and successful start.
✅ Complete Registration
To receive a class schedule and begin school on the first day, all students must have their online registration completed and all required documents submitted.
If your student's registration is still incomplete, please complete it as soon as possible. Students with incomplete registration may experience delays in receiving their schedule or beginning classes.
Please make sure your student has all required immunizations on file before the first day of school. Students who do not meet state immunization requirements may not be permitted to attend school until all required documentation has been received.
Students planning to participate in athletics this year must have:
✅ A current physical on file
✅ All required electronic forms completed in Rank One
Complete athletic forms at www.rankone.com before practices begin.
Any 9th grade student participating in athletics at Bell High School will ride district transportation from Hurst Junior High to Bell High School on the first day. Please be sure your family has made transportation arrangements for after practices and activities. Additional information regarding Bell athletics transportation can be found here.
Thank you for partnering with us as we prepare for another outstanding school year. Your support helps us ensure every student has a successful start, and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Hurst.
We do great things for kids and each other every day
in a safe and positive environment.
