NotebookLM is Google’s AI-powered note-taking sidekick. Drop in your Docs, Slides, PDFs, or links, and it turns into a conversation partner for your content. You can ask it to summarize, clarify, pull out key themes, or even help you build study materials, and it only uses the sources YOU uploaded. 

Visit https://notebooklm.google.com and sign in with your Google account.

If you’re logged into your Google Workspace account, you can also access NotebookLM through the “waffle” (Google apps launcher) in the top right corner of your screen.

• Once your documents/sources are in a notebook, NotebookLM lets you chat with your content. You can ask questions like “What are the key takeaways?” or “Explain this concept.”

• The responses are grounded in ONLY your sources and usually include citations to the exact text.

• The chat window is your interactive interface. You can refine questions or follow up to dig deeper into your material.

• You can also name your chat by just clicking in the top left on the title it is automatically given.

• You can have up to 100 notebooks!

• You can upload 50 sources into a notebook in the free version
