Store bought, individually packaged treats (such as Little Debbie snacks or Rice Krispie treats) are preferred so that teachers can easily pass them out and avoid allergens.
Please keep your student home if they are sick and call the school about their absence. 1 High risk symptom: fever, cough, difficulty breathing and lost of taste or smell OR 2 Low risk symptoms: congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, headache, fatigue and muscle or body aches need to stay home. Please contact the school or school nurse to report your students absence so we can provide you with further guidelines.
Please make sure your phone numbers are updated with the school. When students become suddenly ill or injured at school, it is essential that we have current phone numbers. Please keep the nurse informed of significant changes in your child’s health. By communicating your child’s special health and safety needs to us, we can ensure a safer and healthier school year.
If you have any questions or concerns about your student, please contact the school nurse at kristinborg@hebisd.edu or call 817-399-3037.
