Curriculum Night Sessions
Session 1: 5:30β6:00 p.m.
Session 2: 6:00β6:30 p.m.
Families may choose the Curriculum Night session that works best for their schedule.
Progress reports for Grades 2β6 will be available in the Skyward on Friday, August 28, 2026. Please continue to monitor your child's academic progress throughout the year.
If you need assistance accessing Skyward, please contact the front office.
Lunch visitors are welcome beginning Monday, August 24.
To ensure a positive experience for all students:
Please limit lunch visits to once per week so students have opportunities to build social-emotional connections with their peers.
We will communicate any Closed Campus days (no visitors) later in the school year.

A valid photo ID is required to enter the building and sign in through the Raptor Visitor Management System.

On Monday, September 7th, there will be no school as it is a student and staff holiday in observance of Labor Day.Β
Students in grades Kindergarten- 6 will take the MAP test. The purpose of MAP Growth is to determine what the student knows and how they are growing academically. MAP Growth is designed to measure student achievement in the moment and growth over time. MAP Growth tracks studentsβ individual growth over time, wherever they are starting from and regardless of the grade they are in.
It is very important that all students are present on the day of the test. Testing will start no later than 8:10 a.m. Please make sure your child is prepared for the test by getting a good night's rest, eating breakfast and arriving to school no later than 7:45 a.m. on Monday, September 14th.Β
If your student is interested in auditioning for choir, please reach out to Ms. Wright at maciewright@hebisd.edu. Permission slips will be sent home by Ms. Wright.
Choir auditions will take place in the Music Room at 7:15 a.m. on the dates listed above.
