(early November- early February) 

Try-outs for basketball will begin at the conclusion of volleyball season, around the beginning of November. Coaches will select two teams of 10-15 players based on skills (dribbling, passing, and shooting), game play, knowledge of the game, and hustle. 8th grade practice 7th period-5pm. Games are usually on Thursday's after school with 1-2 tournaments per team. Once team selections are made, more information will be sent out along with a game schedule and practice calendar. Any girl who does not make the team will be in the off-season program to prepare for the next upcoming sport.
