Upcoming Important Dates and Information
Announcements
The following info went out multiple times this summer and all the steps to complete to make sure your athlete is ready for the new school year. It also has important information for all new incoming 7th grade athletes and our new & returning 8th grade athletes.
Summer is almost past & good athletes have used their time to continuously improve their skills and their fitness this summer. BJH girls athletics won over 20 Championship awards this past school year in 7-8th sports. Our program is the best in my opinion because our athletes have parents and coaches that realize coming into this year prepared, builds confidence that produces success!.
So how can your athlete come in prepared? Complete the following steps asap!
Step 1. Well, it starts with getting your athlete a sports physical using the HEB Physical Form attached ASAP, Parents fill out the medical history side and the doctor fills out and signs the other side. Anyone new to athletics 7-9th grade and all incoming 7th graders will need a completed and Dr. signed sports physical. 8th graders who will be returning to athletics will be able to use their 7th grade physicals as starting this year physicals will go for two years. Don't be the people scrambling trying to get one right before school starts. Anyone who does not have a completed and uploaded physical before school starts will be removed from athletics.
Step 2. Use the following link HEB ISD Rank One Parent Portal and fill out the mandatory athlete paperwork then follow the directions to upload your athlete's physical Uploading Physicals to Rank One for Parents/Athletes Directions(directions attached). Rank One documents are ready to be completed asap as well.
Step 3. Sit down with your athlete and Complete the BJH Girls Athletics Rules, Expectations and Code of Conduct Form. This form explains all the Rules and Expectations of being in athletics.
Step 4. An email should automatically be sent to use when you have uploaded your physical to Rank One, fully completed your online athletic paperwork on Rank One & completed our BJH athletic rules, expectations & code of conduct. Paper work Done!
Step 5. If you are new to HEB or do not already have a SchoolCash Online account, please use this link to sign up as this account can be used to purchase athletic uniforms and other important athletic items via credit card. Girls Athletic Uniforms will be available to purchase before school starts as well as the first day/week of school (an email will be sent out when school cash is ready and uniforms can be purchased), cash or check as well as using school cash online. Shirts ($15), Shorts ($15), Sweats orders will be taken in September also payable thru school cash online or Cash or check to BJH Girls Athletics.
All athletes will be assigned an athletics locker the first or second day of school, our athletic lockers have built in combination locks. Athletes will be given their assigned locker # and the code to unlock it.
In Conclusion, all this information and much more can be found on this website, use the tabs at top to explore and make sure and click on the Important Info/Forms tab to find the majority of the above information. Also check out the Frequently asked Questions document which has the majority of the answers to common questions. I hope this helps get everyone started. Remember the sooner you get this all done, the easier your athletes transition into this school year will be.
Thanks and keep checking the website for new updates and I will be sending out more emails as we get closer to August.

Attention all Athletes and Parents:
All athletes entering 7th & 9th grade and any students new to athletics in any grade will need a new sports physical before beginning athletics this next school year. All 8th graders returning to athletics and have a completed physical on file from their previous 7th grade years do not need a new physical as physicals will now go for two years, so basically athletes will need a new physical as a 7th grader, a 9th grader and a 11th grader. Some camps at LD Bell require a physical before you can attend their summer workouts. You will fill out the medical history side and the doctor will fill out the other side. Please upload your physicals to Rank One. Also parents will need to sit down with your athlete and fill out then submit the mandatory Rankone online documents every year, no matter grade level. Both the physical and the Rankone documents have to be completed and submitted before your athlete can compete and be a part of athletics. Anyone who has not met those requirements will be removed from athletics once the school year begins.
