This course is designed for anyone who leads professional learning and has not had the opportunity to study professional learning design and delivery for adults. Participants will learn and apply the backward design for planning the “what” or content for professional learning. Many strategies and tools will be experienced and explored for the "how" or delivery of professional learning experiences, using adult learning theory as the foundation. This interactive class provides participants with the opportunity to apply the planning process to a personal upcoming adult learning session as well as the opportunity to practice delivery strategies. This course previously was entitled Facilitating Adult Learning.
NOTE: All participants, including those registering as "Participant Only," should plan to complete all of the work required (attendance, participation and assignments) to receive the full benefit of the training.
