During the course of the school year, it is inevitable that children become ill with colds, flu or other childhood ailments. As quickly as these can spread amongst your family at home, they also spread throughout the classroom. An ill child is unable to learn in the classroom setting and will recuperate more quickly if given the opportunity to rest at home. Consequently, please do not send your child to school if he/she is ill and is not able to participate fully in all areas of the program, including outdoor play. Children with the following illnesses should remain at home and away from others:
-Diarrhea -Rubella -Measles -Impetigo -Fever -Whooping Cough
-Mumps -Strep Throat -Ringworm -Pink-eye -Flu -Pinworms
-Chickenpox (until child is feeling 100%, regardless of spots and past the contagious stage)
