Open Enrollment for the 2026-2027 School Year

What is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment allows students to attend a school district outside of their district of residence, tuition-free, pending approval and available space.

Who Can Apply?

Any student residing outside of the district may apply for Open Enrollment.

Approval is based on:

• Available space in the requested grade level/program

• Compliance with district policies and procedures

Application Process

• Applications must be submitted during the district’s designated Open Enrollment window

• A separate application is required for each student

• Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance

Annual Reapplication Required

Open Enrollment approval is valid for one school year only.

Families must:

• Reapply each year

• Maintain eligibility based on district criteria

Transportation

• Parents/guardians are responsible for transporting students to and from school

• Students may use an existing bus stop only if space is available and approved by the Transportation Department

• Bus routes and stops will not be modified for Open Enrollment students

Important Considerations

• Enrollment may be revoked if district policies are not followed

• Acceptance may be impacted by:

  • 1. Class size limits

    2. Program availability

    3. Attendance and discipline history

📅 Opens: April 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM
📅 Closes: May 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM

All applications must be submitted online. Proof of residency is required.
