Suicide Prevention

If this is an EMERGENCY, call 911 and find a safe adult immediately.

If this is a MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY, call 988 and find a safe adult immediately - YOU ARE NOT ALONE, WE CARE, REACH OUT

You are not alone, we care about each of you and if you ever have concerns or questions, please reach out to an adult. We recognize and take all allegations of suicidal thoughts seriously. We want to connect with you. Suicide is the second leading death for our youths (CDC, 2019). Speak up, reach out, we want to help.

Here at WJHS, we strive to maintain a bully-free environment for all of our students and staff. Bullying is taken seriously for our staff and any reports will be handled quickly by our administrators and staff. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us for more information or clarification.

Smoke-Free Teens

WJHS is a smoke-free environment, no exceptions. All students deserve to learn in an environment free of drugs (cigarettes, vapes, marijuana, prescribed pills, etc.). All concerns of substance abuse is taken seriously for our staff and any reports will be handled quickly by our administrators and staff. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us for more information or clarification.

Smokefree Teen has free text message programs that give you 24/7 tips, advice, and encouragement to help you become—and stay—tobacco free. These programs look just like a text conversation you’d have with a friend.
