For children (under 18) and their families who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Hotline available 24/7; however, rural clinicians are only available 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Humboldt General Hospital.

3 p.m. — 6 p.m. weekdays — Zion Zone Youth Center is a free, non-profit, after school and summer program for the community youth. Zion Zone Kids operates according to the Humboldt County School District schedule. Snacks, crafts and organized group games are provided in the afternoons and homework assistance is available during the educational period.

Humboldt County Homeschoolers Support
Each Friday — Humboldt County Homeschoolers meet from 1 – 3 p.m. for enrichment activities and social time at the Family Youth Center (next to the indoor pool). Homeschooling families of all ages, methods and faiths are welcome. This active group is a great resource for kids and parents of homeschoolers!
