Warrior Youth Team
The Frontier Community Coalition has partnered with WJHS to promote awareness and education for all students and community members on substance misuse and its impact on young people.

Meetings every Tuesday during WJHS lunch! Join us at lunch for games and to help plan ways to make the school a better place to be. On Tuesdays grab your lunch and go straight to room 12 if you’re in 7th and room 23 if you’re an 8th. See you there!

Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts
Each Wednesday, 7 p.m. — Regular meeting of Boy Scout Troop 223 at First Baptist Church, 515 Garrison St. For more information call (775) 625-0495.

Splash Pad
The splash pad is located at the Whitworth Recreation Complex adjacent to the Boys & Girls Club and is free for the public to use
Skate Park
The skate park is located adjacent to Vesco City Park on Mizpah Street (across from Humboldt General Hospital) and is free for the public to use

This list is does not comprise of all of the beautiful out of doors locations in and surrounding Winnemucca. We encourage you to get outside and explore our deserts, mountains, creeks, and reservoirs to find our hidden gems.
Northern Nevada ATV Association
Every fourth Wednesday, 7 p.m. — The Northern Nevada ATV Association meets every fourth Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room at R & L’s Express Casino. Non-members welcome. Contact Howard Hammond at 623-4401 for further information.
Great Basin Offroaders
