I am the Secondary & Transition Services Resource Teacher for Howard County Public Schools. I am always available via email or mobile (443-355-7733) to assist with any transition questions or needs. Do not hesitate to ask!
I have been working with and supporting families in many different roles for over 20 years; I spent several years working as the Academic Life Skills teacher at Clarksville Middle School, then as Academic Life Skills teacher/Enclave teacher at Marriotts Ridge High School before focusing on my passion with transition.
I have a bachelor's degree in special education (Birth-21) from Marywood University, a master's degree in Severe Disabilities from the University of Maryland-College Park and my administration certification from Towson University.
Currently I'm also working as:
Board Member for the Arc of Howard County
Co-chair for the Howard County Transition Commission
Co-host for the Post Secondary Transition Conversation, a pocast about the transition process for families of students with disabilities
I will continue to update information throughout this site as changes are made and events are posted.
