Key walked through the halls of the dark, empty high school, clutching his backpack. How had no one noticed he wasn't there when the bell rang? How had no one noticed he had fallen asleep under the bleachers in the gym? How did he even fall asleep with all the ruckus that was going on? But that didn't matter. Key was locked inside the school. Were his parents even worried? Probably not. No one cared about Key. He was a loner, he had to be. If no one was going to look out for him, he'd look out for himself.
He was searching for a way out, an unlocked door or an open window, maybe. He walked by the 10th grade science classroom when he heard shouting from inside.
"Stop it, you psychopath!"
"I'm the psychopath, huh?!"
"Yes! You're the one who's trying to-"
Key heard a groan. Then, he heard laughter. Evil laughter. Key only heard the evil laughter. What happened to the other dude? Key opened the door ever so slightly. He saw someone in a black hoodie and pants, kneeling over an unconscious body, laughing that evil laugh. Key was a little scared. In fact, Key was more than a little scared. He was debating between two things. He could either sneak away since the guy in the hoodie hadn't seen him yet and save himself the drama and possibly hours of unconsciousness, or try to intervene, maybe knocking the guy in the hoodie out cold and see if the unconscious person was okay.
If he tried to intervene, he would probably end up like the unconscious dude. But sneaking away seemed wrong. So he took a picture with his smartphone. But unluckily, flash was on and it caught hoodie guy's attention. They turned around, their face hidden behind shadows. Key froze. Hoodie guy stood up and started walking towards the door.
Key ran for his life. He ran past two math classrooms, the gym, the cafeteria, a bunch of lockers, even the principal's office, before he stopped to take a breather. He breathed heavily, tired from the run. He looked over his shoulder just to make sure the hoodie guy hadn't caught up. Key was in the clear. He reached in his pocket for his phone. But it wasn't there. Where was his phone? Had he dropped it? It appeared so, because it wasn't in any of his other pockets. "HOW DID YOU LOSE IT?" Key whisper-yelled at himself. He looked for it everywhere but it wasnt at his house.
The next day at school he asked pepole if they saw Key's phone but no one responded. Key was now terrified about people with hoodies on. He told one of his friends whose name was Kyle and told him to see what was there now but it was just a math class with a guy with a hoodie secretly playing on his phone. When Key looked at him the "hoodie guy" turned his head towards him. Key instantly turned away pretending to take down notes, but the guy was still looking straight at him.
After class Key ran out the door as fast as lightning and tried to keep it a secret from his friends. His friends where whispering things to each other without him which did not seem normal. Key eventually told his friends and went full detective mode.
At lunch he asked other people is they knew who he was and they most of the people said he was a very nice person with a great Instagram account. Key was very confused, but no one told him his name. A group of friends key asked wither said,
" I don't remember," or " It doesn't say."
Key walked down the hallway and yelled at his friends
"Why are you not including me?!?!?"
"Oh did you look at this guys Instagram post?" Kyle asked him
"Why are you spying on him Key?" Another one of his friends asked him.
" I'm not doing anything!" Key Yelled. All his friends where looking at him in confusion, "Look I will confront him myself."
"Hello my name is Key how are you?. . ." Key said awkwardly. The guy did not reply until a couple seconds later.
"Don't worry in just trying to get followers leave." He said in a low tone, that sounded mean
"Well Then S T O P!!!" It's making me lose my friends" Key said very loudly.
They both yelled back and forth and the hoodie guy just said,
"Okay I will stop but I am not giving back your phone."
Then hoodie guy stood up and left.
The next day he went back to school he heard he got "Expelled" and will never be seen again.
