“Creativity takes courage.”

Macro Eyes
Students in Studio A Art created imaginative “Macro Eyes” drawings inspired by animals, dragons, and fantasy creatures. Using observation and artistic problem-solving, students explored proportion, texture, value, color blending, and detail through enlarged close-up compositions. Students used oil pastel techniques to create depth, realism, and expressive visual effects while developing their understanding of how artists communicate ideas through imagery.
This project encouraged students to develop artistic skills, apply the elements of art and principles of design, refine craftsmanship, and engage in creative expression. Students practiced critical thinking, experimentation, and reflection throughout the artistic process while building confidence in their artistic voice.
