Art utensils are very important, because without them there would be no art. Some of the more popular utensils are:
Pencils: the most used art tool, shaped like a skinny cylinder with a pointed tip. Most have an eraser on the end.
Colored Pencils: an often used utensil to color, shaped in a skinny cylinder with a pointed tip. Almost never have eraser.
Chalk Pastels: a not commonly used tool, made to create a smooth, chalky texture for a cool, rough-like feel. It looks like chalk, but draws with a smooth, silky texture.
Markers: another commonly used utensil made to color, shaped in a cylinder (a little thicker than a pencil but shorter)
Paint: a little less used than others, a wet and thick liquid that dries into a hard layer. To use you would need a paintbrush.
Paintbrush: used to move paint, a wooden or metal stick with lots of bristles at the top.
Crayons: a small, skinny cylinder with a pointed tip made of wax.
Watercolors: like paint and you need to use a paintbrush with it, but you also need water to use it.
Eraser: can be used to erase pencil marks and sometimes colored pencil marks. Never others unless made specially.
Oil Pastels: oily, waxy, pastels that are used for many kinds of art pieces.
