Course Story

Algebra, Functions, and Data Analysis is designed for students who have taken Algebra 1 and Geometry but need a bit more support before moving to Algebra 2. AFDA allows students to dive deeper into the data cycle to collect, organize, and analyze data in order to make predictions and draw conclusions. Bivariate data allows for the study of functions - specifically linear, quadratic, and exponential. Function characteristics are explored for both abstract functions and those that model real-world data. Probability and experimental design provides culminating experiences for students to reason mathematically about their world.
