As an elementary science and math content specialist, Kristella Laso brings over a decade of experience in education, primarily focused on teaching 4th and 5th grades, while also well-versed in all elementary levels. Throughout her career, she has been driven by a profound passion for both science and math education, consistently creating engaging and meaningful learning opportunities for students across different age groups. Her expertise in curriculum development, data-driven instruction, and innovative teaching methods positions her to effectively support fellow educators and enhance science and math instruction within the school community. Secondary Science Content Specialist
Melonie Flores
Melonie Flores has worked with Harlingen CISD in many capacities over the last 24 years in education, but more recently as the Science Specialist. She provides instructional support to the Science teachers and serves on many district-level committees. She leads curriculum PLC’s and plans ongoing professional development based on priorities and data. She assists teachers in developing curriculum plans infused with technology-embedded resources. As the Science Specialist, Melonie establishes sound priorities and plans for the development and refinement of our district curriculum documents.
