Robot Drone League Jr.
Robot Drone League Jr.
The RDL Jr. program uses 2 student operated robots moving at the same time in an enclosed course. A 4 prop drone completes aerial missions while a tank bot engages in ground based activities. The students use a mixture of direct control and pre-coded directions in the competition event. A course example is shown.

The RDL Jr. program is designed to provide younger students with open-ended challenges that allow for creation and innovation by engaging in hands-on design, engineering, and programming of interactive robots and drones. Working with robots in a collaborative game format is a very powerful tool to engage students and enhance math and science skills through hands-on, student-centered learning.
