The FLL is a STEM robotics competition that uses electric motor driven Lego Robots to both navigate a course and complete various interactive challenges. It includes a Game Table event, a Coding Explanation Presentation, and a Community Project Presentation.

Apison will hopefully be fielding an FLL Team for the 2025-26 school year. However, it depends upon event availability. We were unable to attend recent FLL programs due to schedule conflicts and hosted our own Lego Robotics Program instead. Regardless of the format, we will be hosting some form of Lego Robotics Program this year.
Science Olympiad
The Science Olympiad is a Science, Math, and Engineering competition held at Chatt State every Spring. Students compete in teams of 2 to complete 3 different events. For their effort, the top 10 places in each event earn medals to showcase their skill. Example events include Bridge Builders, Metric Mastery, 3 2 1 Blast Off, and Name the Scientist.
