The Week of Respect is an amazing time when the whole school comes together to discuss and show each other how we can treat everyone with Respect. It is a week full of smiles and positive energy that carries on for the rest of the year. Keith Haring was an artist in NYC who used his creativity to help others and spread happiness. He produced more than 50 public artworks in dozens of cities around the world, many of which were created for charities, hospitals, children’s day care centers and orphanages. He created a mural for the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in 1986, on which Haring worked with 900 children; and a mural on the exterior of Necker Children’s Hospital. Our artists recreated Haring's infamous "Heart" to spread the joy of Respect Week!
