To add/change a meeting in the programme, email icc@hbsc.org before the 1st of May. After the 1st of May, all room bookings are finalised, the programme is complete, and changes cannot be made. This 40th anniversary Spring meeting is an in-person meeting. You must be registered to attend in-person. Chairs can facilitate online participation by sending the link for their session to icc@hbsc.org by the 1st of May. Colleagues can join online where links are available on the programme (if joining online only, please do not register).
Youth track
The host team are organising a dedicated youth parallel track for up to 30 adolescent Lithuanian youth on Thursday 8th of June. This will include a meet and greet and workshops for the young people, lunch and then culminate in the plenary futures session with HBSC members at 13:00. Youth track

The aim of the session is to reflect on the scientific strengths and achievements of the last 40 years and consider how to maximise the future scientific impact of the study. Through interactive discussions around specific themes, we will together identify emerging challenges for adolescent health and consider what strategies we might use and what actions we might take to most effectively address these challenges and ensure the future relevance and value of HBSC to the global adolescent health community.

The goal of this session is to provide examples of how the HBSC has impacted policymakers over the years in different countries (Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Poland, and Sweden) for a variety of issues, from physical activity to bullying to mental health to youth engagement). For further session information, see the overview.
By the end of the session, participants will have an understanding of how the HBSC data can be 1) used to identify critical problems in their adolescents, 2) to inform the development of health promotion interventions and programs, 3) to evaluate health-related interventions; 4) to monitor trends in adolescent health behaviours; and 5) how to move from research to policy impact.
