HBCSD TK/Kindergarten
The Best Little School District in the South Bay
The Hermosa Beach City School District was established in 1904 and serves approximately 1,200 students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Come Thrive at HBCSD
Dr. Jason Johnson, HBCSD Superintendent, and Lisa Tanita, View Principal, introduce you to the Hermosa Beach City School District and our Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten program.
Spotlight on Mrs. Peng, TK Teacher
Watch the video to learn about Mrs. Peng and her TK class.
As Mrs. Peng mentions in the video, HBCSD is accepting interdistrict permits for the 2022-2023 school year. So, if you or a friend/family member are interested in our Hermosa schools but don't live in Hermosa Beach, make sure to visit our HBCSD.ORG to learn more about how to obtain an interdistrict permit. We would be happy to have you at the Best Little School District.
