Laura and Connie started Three Ships in 2017 from a humble apartment kitchen and only $4,000. We were frustrated with the state of the beauty industry - overpriced products, green-washing, misleading claims and millions of tons of plastic waste created every year. We knew there had to be a better way, so we set out to create the world’s most transparent, effective, and sustainable natural skincare.

Three Ships is uncomplicated skincare backed by natural ingredients and real science.

We believe you don’t need a fortune or a 12-step skincare routine to have happy, healthy skin. So all of our products are under $45 CAD, certified cruelty-free and vegan, and made with 100% natural ingredients. They’re formulated by world-class chemists and solve real customer skin problems simply. We label our skincare clearly and have an Ingredients Glossary handy so customers always know what they’re applying to their face.

Fractionated coconut oil (MCT) melts away stubborn makeup, dirt and oil. It works on even waterproof makeup, like mascara, eyeliner and matte lipstick!
Since we use fractionated coconut oil, it’s non-comedogenic, meaning it doesn’t clog pores.
Lavender essential oil hydrates and soothes dry, itchy skin.
Directions: Pour desired amount of cleansing oil on cotton pad, swab, or directly on skin to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. Rinse skin to remove excess oil.
Great as a first step cleanse, before using a gel or foaming cleanser.

A. Legend has it that the person who discovered the mystical Fountain of Youth only had a small fleet of three ships, compared to the standard of dozens and dozens of boats in a fleet.

We embrace this less is more mindset and use this philosophy to chart our course as a company. We believe you don't need a long list of unnecessary ingredients in your skincare products, and you don't need a 12 step skincare routine to achieve beautiful results.

A. Yes! All of our products meet the highest quality in avoiding un-natural additives. We formulate according to the EU guidelines for personal care, which ban >1,400 potential toxins.

A.Yes, our products are all safe to use when pregnant and breastfeeding.

Q. Do you test on animals?

A. No. We are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny. Our products are vegan and cruelty-free.

KEY APPLICATION TECHNIQUES - DEMOS

Cleansing Oils (Nourish and Clarify) – helpful to apply makeup onto (customer’s) hand first, to show effective makeup-removing properties of our cleansing oils. We suggest soaking a Q-tip or cotton pad, and gently massaging hand to dissolve makeup.
Cleansers (Refresh and Purify) – apply 1 pump to (customer’s) hand to show gel texture, and massage a bit to show that it foams slightly.
Serums (Glow, Hydrate, Boost, Dew Drops) – apply 1 drop to (customer’s) hand to show deeply moisturizing properties + texture
Moisturizers (Radiance and Dream) – use pump top jar to show hygienic + fun way to dispense product. Massage into (customer’s) hand to show texture and that the white cast disappears quickly.
Clay Masks (Detox and Soothe) – if possible, take a bit of dry clay mask and mix with a drop of water to show texture.
