1. Does Cartier have a High Perfumery Collection?

Yes, there are 2, called LES HEURES DE PARFUM and LES HEURES VOYAGEUSES. The distribution is very exclusive (only in Hudson bay Vancouver & Montreal).

2. Where is Cartier distributed in Canada?

It’s a very exclusive distribution with only 9 HBC doors (Montreal, Sherway, Vancouver, Bay-Queen, Yorkdale, Mississauga, Anjou, Carrefour Laval & Chinook), selected Holt Renfrew and Cartier boutiques. Cartier fragrances are available on thebay.com

1. ALLÉGRESSE AND INSOUCIANCE SMELL VERY SIMILAR ON BLOTTERS.

Indeed, both Rivières de Cartier immediately convey a sensation of floral freshness, however the blotter does not enhance their olfactory differences, the sparkling facet of Allégresse and the slightly gourmand facet of Insouciance.

I invite you to try both scents on your skin to discover your preferred scent.

Note: It is not recommended to let the client discover the 3 Rivières one after the other. Do not hesitate to introduce La Panthère EDT, or even Carat in the meantime

2.THE SCENT IS VERY DIFFERENT ON MY SKIN COMPARED TO THE BLOTTER!

Indeed, the blotter does not allow the Rivières to fully reveal all their olfactory facets, and the sensation on the skin conveys all the intensity of a wild river in nature.

3. THE BOTTLE IS VERY LIGHT…

Rivières de Cartier has been conceived and developed to ensure optimum sustainability, it is a reason why Cartier has chosen to lighten the bottle glass weight.

Besides, A heavy glass weight is no longer a symbol of quality and luxury! Indeed, in spite of its lighter glass weight, this bottle is more expensive to produce that many fragrance bottles, as it requires an innovative technology and a careful attention due to the glass thinness.

4. HOW TO EXPLAIN THE PRICE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIVIÈRES DE CARTIER AND LES COLLECTIONS DE PARFUM, ESPECIALLY LES EPURES DE PARFUM, THAT ARE ALSO EAU DE TOILETTE CONCENTRATION? DOES IT MEAN THAT RIVIÈRES SCENTS ARE LESS QUALITATIVE?

Rivières de Cartier will be sold in all Cartier doors, whereas Les Collections de Parfum’s distribution is more exclusive, and limited to Cartier boutiques and Specialist Flagship stores. Therefore, Les Collections de Parfum are produced in smaller quantities, hence the price difference.

5. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN RIVIÈRES DE CARTIER AND LES EPURES DE PARFUM, AS BOTH ARE INSPIRED BY LIVING NATURE?

Rivières de Cartier are rather abstract scents, that evokes a river with nature around it, and a blend of several raw materials that “infuse” in or around the river. On the opposite, Les Epures de Parfum are very realistic scents, that enhance a single raw material (soliflore) worked as if it has had just been picked in a garden.
