Experiment with image compression by downloading this Horses image and working with in Adobe Photoshop
Download this Horses image
Open the image in Adobe Photoshop
Go to the File menu and choose File>Save As
In the window that pops up, from the Format dropdown menu choose JPEG
Change the filename to Low Quality
Click Save
In the popup that follows make sure the Preview box is checked
Adjust the Quality slider to small file and see how it affects the image preview and the file size values
Adjust the Quality slider to large file and see how it affects the image preview and the file size values
