Term 1

We were taught on how electro-magnetism works by Mr. McCarthy. Mr. Lambe showed us how the wind turbine base would look like, he also told us that we would need more induction coils in order to produce enough electricity. Ms. Coughlan signed us up to the neatstreets programme and we designed a poster to promote a litter-free school.

Term 2

We did a rubbish evaluation in order to apply for the grant. The school was mostly clean but we found that we need more bins outside for the school to be really clean. We researched the popularity of babies names with Mr. McCarthy and we looked at some graphs that showed the rise and fall of the popularity of a name during a 40 year period

Term 3/4

This term we didn't do much because of the lockdown. When we came back we did an experiment on how much time do we leave a popcorn packet in the microwave to recieve a perfect bag of popcorn. We also went out to clean the school for the double after the popcorn.
