Irish

Term 1

We had Ms. Ryan for 2 weeks and then we had Ms. Foley for the rest of the term. We revised verbs and tenses. We also watched a short film called 'Yu Ming Is Ainm Dom'. We are doing a presentation on it in groups. I enjoyed watching him solve the cultural problems. Yu Ming learned Irish but once he got to Ireland he discovered that no body spoke it. It was comical and sad because its sad to see Irish peopole that cannot speak Irish at all. Its comical because he used forks and a knife as chopsticks to eat his dinner.

Term 2

We had Ms. Drew for term 2. We studied the legend of Diarmuid and Gráinne and read the comic book that Ms. Drew had and did another presentation on it

We had Mr. Stack for this term. For our assigment we had to research and present on a topic
