Secondary Math: Student Describe Station Rotations
Teachers can quickly create their own instructional videos to free up more time for small group instruction. These videos are great for modeling a procedure or process you want students to follow on an assignment or review. Students can pause or rewind video to control their pace or if they forget the instructions. This allows the teacher uninterupted time with small groups and helps build independent learning skills.
Tools for creating videos include the video app on your mobile device, iMove, Explain Everything, Educreations, Edpuzzle (embed video with checks for understanding) and Screencastify (model instructions for an online activity).
