The Blended Learning Toolkit has been designed to help you make the shift from a traditional teaching model to a blended learning model. Blended Learning is not a program and it's not a prescriptive methodology. It is a model of instruction that leverages the power of technology to differentiate, individualize and/or personalize the learning for your students. Although blended learning may look different from classroom to classroom, there are critical attributes and common elements that in all successful implementations.

Because blended learning models are flexible rather than prescriptive, they easily accommodate other instructional methodologies such as project-based learning, STEM, Math Workshop, literacy stations and genius hour.

Blended models make it much more efficient to differentiate for learners, therefore they are perfect for classrooms that have a broad range of learning abilities such as English language learners, gifted and talented and special education students.
