Why Do We Need to Tidy Our Drive?
Keeping your Google Drive organised makes it easier to find your work when you need it. If your files are left loose (not in a folder), they can get lost at the end of the year. However, if they are stored in the correct folders, they will be safely archived and accessible later. Taking time now to tidy your Drive will save you stress in the future!
1) Move Loose Files into Folders
Drag and drop files into the correct folders.
Create new folders if needed (e.g., "Writing," "Maths," "Projects").
Try different ways of moving files (right-click, drag, or use the ‘Move’ button).
2) Rename ‘Untitled’ Files
Open any file named ‘Untitled’ and give it a clear name so you can find it later.
