The goal is to gather different brands of hand sanitizers that are sold on Lānaʻi, research their ingredients, and identify which sanitizers were recalled by the FDA and which brands are safe to use.
Key Milestones:
Visit businesses on Lānaʻi and record what brands of hand sanitizers are sold there.
Identify common FDA called back ingredients.
Develop a hand sanitizer data table that includes the brands of sanitizers sold in Lānaʻi, their main ingredients, % alcohol, identify if they were called back by the FDA, and its effectiveness to kill germs/bacteria.
Create a pamphlet that will include the hand sanitizer data table to educate the community about which hand sanitizers are safe to purchase.
