Corpora

English-Corpora (BNC, News on the Web, COCA)

The LAE Labs currently holds a 3-year academic license to English-Corpora.org. A limited number of active lab users may access the corpora using our license. Please note that users do not require a license to access these corpora, but unlicensed access is limited to a certain number of search queries per day.

To be eligible for licensed access, you must meet the following requirements: be either: 1) a current graduate student of any CALL department in good standing, or 2) a researcher or faculty member in CALL; AND: be currently conducting research which requires heavy use of one of the corpora hosted by English-Corpora.org. If you are an active lab user who wishes to have access, please contact the current LAE Labs Coordinator with your justification of how you meet the aforementioned eligibility requirements.
